Teaching Philosophy

I strive to create an inclusive and supportive classroom where all students feel valued and confident to learn. By connecting finance theory to real-world applications and helping students build strong quantitative skills, I aim to equip them with the tools they need to succeed both academically and professionally. 

Teaching Interests: 

Corporate Finance; Financial Derivatives; Portfolio Management. I’ve taught courses including:

  1. FIN 220: Financial Management
    University of Rhode Island, Kingston, USA (Spring 2024, Summer 2024, Fall 2025)

    Taught core undergraduate finance concepts (time value of money, capital budgeting, valuation). Designed lectures, assignments, and assessments; received strong student evaluations.

  2. BAI 111: Introduction to Business Analytics and Applications
    University of Rhode Island, Kingston, USA (Fall 2023, Fall 2024)

    Introduced students to fundamentals of data analysis, visualization, and business decision-making using Excel and introductory Python. Achieved excellent teaching evaluations in Fall 2024 (IDEA rating 4.1/5).

  3. Lecturer of Finance
    Aurobindo College of Business Administration, Hyderabad, India (August 2018 - May 2021)

    Taught undergraduate and graduate courses including Introduction to Corporate Finance, International Finance & Money Markets, and Introduction to Statistics for Business. Developed curriculum and delivered lectures for classes ranging from basic finance principles to advanced financial markets.
